In fact, if I was on vacation on Anna Maria Island, Friday night at the Anna Maria Island Beach Cafe would be on the "must do" list. The Cafe is a concession at the Manatee Public Beach, so you can come as you are, select a table on your own, order at the walk up window, get a drink from the Tiki Bar, kick off your shoes, put your toes in the sand, enjoy your meal when the friendly staff brings it to you and just chill...for the entire evening if you like...nobody will try to rush you off, because there's plenty of room for everyone.
